European Launch Summary
Did Sony Win? hard to say, but here is what happened though:
London, UK - 100+ people lined up @ Virign. Happy Ending
Swindon, UK - a women was mugged with her PS! I reported this earlier here.
Fortunately, as I have just read an update on news, she is OK! and her
PS3 is OK too!!
Island of Malta - the small shipment of about 250 PS3 sold out right
away!
Paris, France - launch event @ the Eiffel Tower, small interruption by
a river boat carring the flying banner "I "heart" Xbox".
Nation of Italy - Italy retailer Darty began to sold PS3 on wednesday,
the rest of Italy follow suits...not much of a launch for a already
launched event. However, Sony is angry! So watch your asses, guys.
Sydney, Aussie territory - 70 fans vs 1000 when xbox launched..that was
waiting to see the new Bond BlueRay..Aussies are pissed.
Durban, South Africa - PS3s are no where to be found....midnight launch
cancel..stranded on ship.
India - launching @ 27th of April...sadness
